Railfanning this section of NS’s busy Sandusky Line can be a feast or famine without a scanner. Trains can bottleneck easily, leading to long dry spells and brief periods of excitement. But, when the trains do fly by, you get a piece of America’s class 1 railroading. In this post I’m going to go over the southern part of the route and point out some great places to park and railfan.We’ll start with the portion of the line between Lewis Center and Worthington.
